Marriages
Under God is a Home Bible Study for couples of all ages whether
they are married or seriously considering marriage. The primary
theme is marriage, family, and relationships.
Statistics
indicate that 5 out of every 10 marriages fail today. Of those
that last a lifetime, only 1 – 2 find true intimacy
and happiness. We believe that these statistics fall far short
of God’s ideal for marriage and the family. MUG is God’s
ministry. During the Christmas season of 1995, God led Fred
and Lori Shumake to establish MUG. The first meeting was conducted
in February 1996, and MUG has been going ever since.

Marriages
Under God seeks to build strong, God-centered families. Desired
outcomes include:
- Strong personal relationship with God… to know God
- Strong marriage relationships (true intimacy)
- Incredible love for one another
- Healing where needed
- Children who accept Christ and stick with their faith
- To provide a place of shelter
- To sharpen one another
- To HAVE FUN, HAVE FUN, and HAVE FUN!! (fellowship)
