Many of us can say we tried and failed, tried harder, failed harder. We may perceive that seemingly everything changes but the things we want changed.

For those who are serious about their faith in God we offer short-term discipleship counsel. This is a service of Holiday Shores Baptist Church. Our aim is to walk with you through the Bible and see radical permanent change.

The Bible tells us… All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16-17.

We offer a personal time of walking through the scriptures to find that Truth that Christ talked of, the Truth that sets you free. Because it’s personal and intensive, such as the counseling that is common with IABC member counselors, a track record of real change is found in a variety of issues. We deal with marriage problems, challenges of teens, addictions, guilt, behavioral issues, general spiritual growth, and others.

The IABC is the International Association of Biblical Counselors. It is a board certified training program that equips its counselors to be workmen approved unto God for seeing that His children are complete for every good work. The IABC website can be found at www.iabc.net.

The goal of Biblical counsel is to glorify God by equipping the saints in those areas that they struggle with. Because this is intensive counsel, and it is working Biblical truth, we see the Holy Spirit working in people in ways the world can not offer. This intensive discipleship will promote a life long discipleship rather than a career of counseling.

In your first meeting we will explain in detail our methods and procedures. You will be equipped with a beginner’s packet, and schedule regular meeting times. Here we also will set the foundation of responsibility between the two parties. This is your first step to knowing the joy of God… setting you free.
