Our Preschool and Children's Ministries provides warm, nurturing and well-supervised programs for children attending Holiday Shores Baptist Church. Energy and excitement fill the halls as we experience God’s blessings through the younger ones! The objective is to help ensure the spiritual development of the child and provide a safe and happy atmosphere in which preschoolers can learn Biblical foundations that will last a lifetime.
Our Preschool Sunday School program is for children ages birth to 5 years and, meets every Sunday morning at 9:30 am. Preschool Extended Sessions are provided for children ages birth to 3 years during scheduled worship services: Sunday mornings at 10:30 am; Sunday evenings (at 7pm during the summer months and 6pm during the school year). Feel free to contact the Pastor or church staff for a copy of the Preschool Department Policies.
Praise Kids is our children’s worship service for children age 4 to 5th grade and meets on selected Sunday mornings. Children are dismissed to attend during the last half of the morning Worship Service.
Children’s Fellowship Hour is a time of Bible study, music, games and activities for children age 4 to 5th grade and meets each Sunday during the evening Worship Service.
TeamKID is our Kids In Discipleship Ministry for children Kindergarten to 8th grade and meets each Wednesday evening at 6:45 pm, September thru May. Kidz Club is held throughout the summer months. Click here for more information about TeamKID.
The Summer Playgroup offers bi-monthly activities during the summer months to bring families together for fellowship while enjoying community resources. Activities have included trips to the St. Louis Zoo, The City Museum and Splash City Waterpark in Collinsville. Check the Weekly News page for the latest planned event.
Bible Drill Team is for children & youth grades 1 to 9 and meets each Sunday Evening at 5:30 pm from January through April. Their focus is learning the books of the Bible and scripture memorization. They participate in church wide tournaments as well as associational and state-wide tournaments.
